Why you wanna break my heart?
You know, humanity is a very dissapointing thing at times.

I went in on friday to get my hair cut by my hairstylist extrodinare. When I called to make the appointment he said he was going out of town soon but could squeeze me in! I asked if he was headed to his mom's he said "oh hell no, never again" and that he would fill me in at my appointment.

I get to my appointment and life is going on but I noticed his arms were very pink, like new sking growing after a wound. I asked why he said he would not be headed to visit him mom any time soon. He told me that while he was home last time his bother jumped him in a alley after he had dinner with the rest of his family. That he is now pressing charges against his brother for a hate crime due to the nature of the beating and that alot of anti-gay things were screamed as his brother was repeatedly kicking him while he lie on the ground writhing in pain. As my stylist told me this my heart was breaking. How could ANYONE cause so much pain to another human? What reason would be that strong? How could you hurt someone in your family so badly? Why would someone elses prefrence elicit such violent responce? That would be like beating me for not eating mushrooms or eggs... I just dont like them. He is just not intrested in women sexually so what? He was hurting no one but someone else hurt him for this? How can anyone be that mean? We finished my appointment and he walked me to the front and turned to give me a hug, I was so afraid my hug would cause pain to those badly beaten parts of his torso, I told him I was hugging gentle cause I did not want the hug to cause additional pain, he thanked me and I left. Since that appointment this has been haunting my mind... I just cannot see a logical reason for this.

I have many friends who are bothe homosexual and hetrosexual, personaly I dont care either way they are my friends for who they are and how they treat others.. as for sexual prefrence, to each his or her own. It doesnt hurt a soul.
