my life, a comedy of errors.

It has been a week for change. My office has moved across town. About 20 miles to be exact. I am no longer in the building with my mechanics that I deal with several times a day. To the point that the Mechanics are a quarter mile away from me, in another building.

On move out day it rained. I packed parts till my feet hurt and my fingers were numb.

On move in day it rained, like tropical depression rained. As I was unloading my truck my pants got caught on my trailer hitch. I was holding the CPU and I was falling, nothing to be done. Falling. This is one of those moments that happens in slow motion. In a flash my Aikido and Derby training came into play. I twisted to the side, cradled that CPU and fell. Am I sore today? You bet. But the CPU survived and so did I. I was soaked to the core but relatively un hurt.

Today on lunch I took the plunge and joined Reed Community Center. I took aikido there practically a life ago. But for the gym they have a deal that is $20.00 for 30 visits. Today I ran a little over a mile in 15 minutes. If I can keep this up at lunch this will be a good change.

Plus the running and warming up the sore spots on my body felt really good. Anything is welcome after that little fall.

Great job on running! You and Grant are turning into quite the fitness couple! Maybe in a couple of months we could all do a 5K.
