I am fairly certain I have not mentioned it before but I am nearing my goal of 3 concerts. I had intended to see the Gin Blossoms yesterday, but the HRBT was not cooperating, traffic was at a stand-still for 9 miles, the delay was 1.5 hours. We did not make it, we do however have Tickets to 2 upcomming venues that Jess and I are dying to see, the first being Flogging Molly on Oct 6 at the NORVA. Currently Jess and I are the only folks from our group that will be attending. The second, being the mindblowing concert that fell into our laps, Motley Crue opening for Aerosmith for the Route of All Evil Tour at the VA Bch Amphitheater Oct 22, Granted they are merely lawn seats, but 35.00 for Tickets to THAT concert, who cares? This time Jess and I will not be alone, we will have the company of Al & Alison (the Al's as I call them), Lisa, and the Kid's (Aaron Grants Drummer) girlfriend Abby and her friend Shelly, and possiably Doug a friend from Grants ship who was just liberated from indentured servitude (discharged), and Ann and Matt! We are just all so friggin stoked! I will be getting myself a over priced tour shirt! Have I mention that I cant wait?! Abby and Shelly will be staying with me, thats cool. Abby is like my kid sister, I just love her! So, that is my short term excitement. The final big event to look foward to before the BIG BIG EVENT!!! I always try to break the deployment into bite size pieces, just to make it more bearable. I am sure you have noticed a few. June, was work on the car month, July I wanted to see things go 'boom', August actually had 2, the first being the trip to Kings Domionion, the second being the visit from my family, Sept was kinda dull, all that prep work for october!!!! But, yeah lots to look foward to, wish you could all be here, except for those of you lucky folks who will be! It is going to kick ass! **Kisses**
