I know during March I slacked a bit on the blogging. So, lets rewind. St Paddy's was spent at Conklins with the Mikendalls, the Al's and Cody. We did not stay out late, Grant had duty the next day.
March 22 marked the addition of a new member of the family. Thats right, I have a new sister in law. Never met her, actually I refer to her as 'the pin cushion' largely based on the few photos I have seen of her. It seems fitting. She is 26 or 27 and Paul just turned 21. Now he is a father of 1 and stepfather of 2. Bringing the total Grandchildren to 3. None of them ours, YAY!
Follow that up with my birthday the following week. We went to Murphys Irish Pub and watched Don Bunch play, once again Grant could not stay out late thanks to duty the following day. We met alot of folks down there and I enjoyed my next import beer.
I got a few surprises, earrings from Rose! (Thanks Rose I love them, sorry I haven't called yet to express my gratitude), work clothes from Cindy, money for skates from the in laws, and a new computer chair for the desk from my Mom along with several other things! Oh and Grant got me a new ViewSonic flat screen monitor and paper shredder (I recently burned out the motor on the one we had). WHOOO HOOOO!
On Sunday April 1, we had our first bout of the home season for roller derby. The new skates came in WAY handy! See photos below...
Also I am participating in the March of Dimes this month. Look for more info coming soon!
