One of my very good friends is in a band that released thier first full lenght CD under this name. It stuck with me.
Derby and I have always had a odd - and often strained relationship. Once again this is surfacing in my mind. This time with a feeling of acceptance. This is not to say that I am leaving derby nor that I desire to. Simply that my feelings may change. Too soon to tell. At this point I am noting the shift, nothing more. I suppose noting the change and sharing. Thanks for reading.

I've been kinda going through the same thing. Might sound weird, but it was a big part of why I quit DC. The one thing that held me back from quitting months ago is that while quitting would mean half the practices, it would also mean half the bouts. Then I realized that I could just as easily spend my "off" Saturdays helping out other leagues, and I'd be more available to help out Charm City for away bouts (case in point: instead of reffing DC/Harrisburg today, I'm reffing our B team's bout against Dutchland). And that, really, decided it all for me.
