What comes after a quarter life crisis?

So, when I turned 25 I did not have any kind of quarter life crisis blow out. That was a mistake. As of this week I have been informed that I am old, well getting old any way. It has been a disaster of a month. I have been informed by the Dr that I have high cholesterol. Not surprising since I have a family history or diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart trouble.

I guess that, my creaky bones, friends with kids, family getting older, it is all hitting me at once. And I am not even thirty yet. This is the mantra I keep repeating, I am not thirty yet!

I am an adult now. I need to come to terms with this and move forward. No need to stress and strain.

Life otherwise is going well. Hopes for the future. Weather is getting closer to the low 90's rather than 100+. I am planning to run the Tulsa Run. Only for personal reasons. I am no good at running. I am hoping to just finish the race. Work is better - system is back up and running (for now).

I am feeling excited about the election this year. Obama's speech was brilliant and his running mate was suburb.

Are you doing the 2K, 5K or 15K? Good luck!

I WISH I were 25 again!
