What a terrible death to die,
What a terrible death to die,
What a terrible death, to be talked to death.

  • It is getting a bit surreal. I will be back in Oklahoma, for good, in less than a month. It is just CRAZY! Grant got a job with the same TV station he worked at before the Navy. We are moving to the SAME neighborhood as my parents and I will be skating at Roller City again.. they say you can never go home again.... well I guess I will have to let you know how that goes.

It is hard to believe that our tenure with the Navy is drawing to a close. It is a antsy anticipation. It is a mixture of warmth and security, and the fear of falling. Neither of us are the person we were when we left. Our relationship is not the same, we have weathered many storms both together and alone. How will our family respond to our need for independence? The next few moths I fear we will be on shaky ground, so many boundaries to form. So many desires to prove myself. I am in the market for a new job. Something a little less stressful, more of a office job. I want to get back to school. Time to get back to what I want to be when I grow up. The time that Grant has served in the Navy has aged me. Both mentally and physically. I am older, going grey. I don't really know where to leave this post, so I will say this. It is going to get interesting.

I know this blog is about so much more but I always sing the announcement song. I learned it in Girls Scout camp and I swear, you're the first one to know it that I've come across in 25 years!!
