Just fertlized the front lawn, cant wait to see if it works!

It was a beautiful this weekend and many of you spent time working in your yard. But what if you didn't have to work so hard to have the most beautiful lawn in the neighborhood? One guy who says he has the secret formula, and it's definitely different.

"I have the best lawn in the neighborhood," says Tim Heffron, lawn tonic expert.

Tim gets great results with no sprinkler system and only a little fertilizer.

Tim Heffron says, "I started using it about five years ago-- back in Oklahoma-- where it's 100-- 100 degrees every day-- day in and day out."

His secret is a formula made-up of common household ingredients.

A pop, a beer, a little liquid dish washing soap, some mouthwash, and some household ammonia...all mixed in to a 10-gallon hose-end sprayer.

The pop and the beer are essentially food for your lawn. The combination of the two will allow the dead grass in your lawn to compost much quicker.

The liquid soap is a wetting agent, helping the formula to penetrate to the roots. The ammonia promotes growth and turns your lawn green, and the mouthwash does something you would never suspect mouthwash would do...it kills the bugs and grubs.

Tim Heffron says, "It essentially messes-up their re-productive cycle and keeps them out of your lawn and makes it look a lot better and leaves it minty fresh."

Here's Tim's formula if you'd like to try it:

* One Can Of Soda -- Not Diet.
* One Can Of Beer -- Not Light.
* One Half Cup Of Liquid Dish washing Soap.
* One Half Cup Of Mouthwash.
* And One Half Cup Of Household Ammonia.

All that is mixed into a ten-gallon hose-end sprayer, and Tim says he applies that mixture every three weeks. He also says he mows his lawn late in the evening, and applies the special formula immediately after that.
